The Blogs I Write
Kourtnie McKenzie has a wide array of blogs spanning across a plethora of interests and subjects.
These are her active blogs:
- Aspiring YA Fantasy Writer. Not the most creative title for a blog in the world, but it’s blunt and to-the-point. This blog focuses on resources from an aspiring young adult fantasy writer and book reviews.
- About Kourtnie McKenzie. This is my personal blog.
- Johannah the Smite Priest. This is a World of Warcraft blog dedicated to smite priests.
These blogs are also active; they share a theme, all education-related:
- Veterans Benefits GI Bill. This blog looks at veteran benefits for military students.
- K-12 Directory of Schools. This blog focuses on K-12 and is a resource for parents.
- DegreeGo. This blog focuses on higher education / college and is a resource for students.
- Online Education Blog. You guessed it!–this blog pertains to online education.
These are blogs that are old / not currently updated:
- A Sliver of Fantasy. Unedited, stream-of-thought fiction from Kourtnie McKenzie. The “did she really do that typo?” kind. This is Kourtnie McKenzie’s fiction muscle exercising tool, available for your enjoyment.
- Kourtnie the Shaman. Kourtnie is guilty of yet another fantastically uncreative blog title. The blog is–you guessed it!–about Kalecgos server’s Dranei shaman, Kourtnie. Yes, Kourtnie McKenzie is guilty of playing World of Warcraft. When she’s not writing about destroying worlds, that is.
- Writing for the Internet. Kourtnie McKenzie is an awe-inspiring (okay, maybe slightly exaggerated) copywriter. Here you will find everything you need to know about writing for the Internet yourself, including a few personal insights into writing fantasy for the Internet.
- Villainous Calorie. Kourtnie McKenzie makes fun of calorie counting and has conversations with her food.
